ImageRights continues global expansion with copyright enforcement services in Mexico
We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Basham Ringe y Correa, S.C, a full-service law firm in Latin America, to offer copyright enforcement services in Mexico.
The partnership will allow ImageRights to support photographers, photo agencies, image archives and media companies with its Recovery service in pursuit of copyright claims in Latin America.
ImageRights’ Recovery service manages copyright infringement claims on behalf of rights holders. ImageRights searches for unlicensed uses of images and visual content, and provides access to legal partners and copyright attorneys. Through its network, ImageRights is able to identify and settle infringement cases, and support quicker, and higher-value settlements.
“Copyright infringement continues to be a global issue—photographers, photo agencies and media companies continue to have their images misused, and often find it difficult to track down where their content has been infringed, and file claims against those at fault,” said Joe Naylor, CEO of ImageRights. “We are keen to help photographers and agencies across the globe to ensure their work is protected, and that right holders can hold on to their intellectual property. We are pleased to be working with Basham—it values professionalism, knowledge and ingenuity—and look forward to helping those in the region to tackle copyright infringement.”
Basham was established in 1912, and its lawyers and support staff have helped an array of clients across Mexico and across the world, including international corporations all the way through to small-and-medium sized businesses, financial institutions and individuals.
ImageRights Recovery service is now available in Latin America.
